1. Application Requirements

Universal for all collaboration models

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience working as a tattoo artist.

Portfolio: A high-quality, mature, and versatile portfolio displaying strong artistic capability.

Legal Status: Must possess a valid Canadian work permit, or be a Canadian Citizen / Permanent Resident.

Professional Standards: Highly conscious of hygiene and safety, with strict adherence to industry sterilization and cross-contamination protocols.

Communication: Genuine, friendly, and approachable; possesses strong client consultation and communication skills.

2. What We Offer

Universal studio amenities for all models

Classical Art Ambiance: Located on St-Hubert Street, offering a clean, comfortable, and fine-art-inspired creative space.

Professional Equipment: Fully equipped workstations featuring premium tattoo tables, specialized work lights, and dedicated tool cabinets.

Hygiene & Sterilization: Complete access to collective medical-grade sterilization and cross-contamination control supplies.

Artist Supply Boundaries: Regardless of the chosen model, the studio does not supply tattoo machines, needles, or premium specific brands of color inks. Artists must provide their own active tools based on their personal preferences.

Workstation: Shared, flexible workstations (artists must check the studio’s shared calendar to confirm open availability before booking clients).

Ink Supply: Bonus free access to the studio's standard house lining/shading black, white, and basic color inks.

Financial Structure: Zero fixed rent risk. Highly competitive, tier-based commission structure where your payout percentage automatically increases as your performance grows, rewarding your hard work.

Marketing Support: Eligible to participate in promotional ad campaigns on our official Instagram page. Upon successful completion of the trial period, the artist's profile and portfolio will be officially added to the studio's website.

2. Classic Hybrid Model

Best for established artists seeking higher payouts and stability

Workstation: Permanent, dedicated workstation. No need to pre-book slots—enjoy an artistic space completely to yourself.

Ink Supply: Also includes bonus free access to the studio's standard house lining/shading black, white, and basic color inks.

Financial Structure: The perfect combination of affordable fixed monthly rent and an ultra-low studio commission split. Designed to ease your daily financial pressure while maximizing payouts from your own personal clients.

Marketing Support: Eligible to participate in promotional ad campaigns on our official Instagram page. Upon successful completion of the trial period, the artist's profile and portfolio will be officially added to the studio's website.

Pure Booth Rental Model

Best for elite, independent artists with a mature client base

Workstation: Permanent, dedicated workstation. Enjoy full business autonomy in your own creative space.

Ink Supply: The studio does not provide house inks. All inks, needles, and disposable consumables are entirely self-supplied.

Financial Structure: Fixed monthly rent with 0% studio commission on personal clients. Operating as an independent sole proprietor, you manage your own deposits and billing. The studio does not handle your bookkeeping and holds no legal liability regarding personal client disputes. Studio payment terminal usage is subject to a 5% administrative fee.

Marketing Support: No studio-backed marketing or promotional support is provided under this model.

4. Complementary Shop Traffic & Booking an Interview

Backed by our strong local marketing (advanced local SEO and official social media channels), Marques du Temps consistently provides premium walk-ins and house leads to all our resident artists. These house-driven clients are distributed based on a dedicated shop-referral structure aligned with your model.
